Dress Code Hat and Sword
Formal dress is required at the conferment ceremony. The following requirements apply to Honorary Doctors and their companions/escorts as well.

Conferment Ball and Banquet:
All doctors wear the doctor's hat. The doctors who are awarded a degree on this occasion should also carry the sword.

N.B.
All participants should wear major decorations at the conferment and at the formal dinner. Those wearing formal dress at the conferment ceremony should not wear a breast-pocket handkerchief.
Please do not wear furs or jewelry during the Conferment Ceremony. The buttons of the female dress should be plain. In the dinner parties wearing jewelry is allowed.
