If a student wishes to change his/her previously accepted research and study plans to meet the new requirements, he/she should proceed as follows:

Students who already have a doctoral training follow-up group:
Discuss the need for changes with your principal supervisor:

• Renew the goals and/or time schedule of your research and studies together with the principal supervisor,
• Submit the new Doctoral Training Plan for approval by your doctoral training follow-up group; the approved revised plan is accepted by the Doctoral Training Committee.

Students who do not have a doctoral training follow-up group:
Discuss the need for changes with your principal supervisor:

• First make a proposal to the Doctoral Training Committee for the composition your doctoral training follow-up group (see instructions on how to form a follow-up group and the nominating a follow-up group form here).
• Renew the goals and/or time schedule of your research and studies together with the principal supervisor.
• The doctoral training follow-up group is first nominated by the Doctoral Training Committee. Then the new Doctoral Training Plan is approved by the follow-up group. Finally, the plan is accepted by the Doctoral Training Committee.

Note! The new study plan must fullfill all the new requirements, including all mandatory courses.

The revised plans will not be accepted if the student is unable to carry out doctoral training according to the new plan (for example, due to limited time and financial resources).
