• A special course: Connecting people and nature – The promise of ecosystem services? Interdisciplinary PhD Course (4 ECTS). Course is organized in association with the Environment Symposium of Nessling Foundation, held 3^rd-4^th December 2013. PhD-students from all Universities are welcome to apply! Course deals with ecosystem services – it´s ecological, economic and social perspective. Organizers: Maj and Tor Nessling Foundation and Helsinki University Centre for Environment HENVI. The course belongs to the doctoral training offered by the University of Helsinki.
   

• SkyPro Conference - Clean air research at the University of Oulu. Tuesday November 12th, 2013 in the lecture hall Saalastinsali, Pentti Kaiteran katu 1, University of Oulu. • Seminar - Northern Highlights of Biotech and Health. October 3rd, 2013, 9-12 am, Lecture hall A101, Medical campus of University of Oulu, Aapistie 7A.

• Course: “Project Assignment in Biobusiness: Market research and strategy analysis for a case firm”, and work in close cooperation with the case firm during the fall term. The lectures take place in Oct 8-9, 2013 (Medical campus, University of Oulu) and team work continues until the final presentations Dec 3rd.

• The course: “Boost to job hunting & CV clinic” takes place on October 17th, 2013 at 8.15-14.00 (Lecture hall IT133, Tietotalo 2, University of Oulu, Linnanmaa campus). The non-stop CV clinic operates after lectures at 14-16 (Lecture hall IT133). Bring along your updated CV or job application (in English or Finnish) and take advantage of an individual 15 minute feedback session! There are only 16 slots available (for the first registered candidates)!
