If the pre-examiners have stated the need for any corrections, the corrections must be made before applying for the permission to defend the thesis. At the same time as granting the permission, the doctoral training committee nominates the opponent(s) and the custos. The printing and publication of the thesis can begin when the doctoral training committee has granted the permission to defend the thesis.
