Field specific studies 46 credits:

  • Research plan seminar 4 credits
  • Method studies 12 credits
  • Other field specific studies 30 credits (national and international post-graduate level courses are recommended)

General and transferrable skills studies 4 credits:

  •     Introduction to UniOGS 1 credit
  •     Research ethics 2 credits
  •     Follow-up group meetings and reports 1 credit

Additional information:
Recommended courses are i.a. courses organized by the national (KATAJA), nordic (Nordic Accounting Research Network) or european (EDEN) doctoral programs:
Advanced Financial Statement Analysis 6 credits
Research traditions in Auditing 6 credits
North American Research Traditions in Empirical Management Accounting Research 6 credits
EDEN Doctoral Seminar on Quantitative Empirical Research in Management Accounting 6 credits
EDEN Doctoral Seminar in Case-based Research in Management Accounting  6 credits

Additional information:
Students without a background in accounting may be required to take up to 0-27 credits of bridging studies.
