University of Oulu will provide a new form of taking exams with flexible hours in a camera supervised environment starting from 16.10.2017.

University of Oulu will move to electronic exams in Examinarium

The possibility for examination on paper in Examinarium has ended June 30th, 2017. New system for electronic examinations Exam is launched in stages in September in the University of Oulu, first as a pilot. Estimated launch is 16.10.2017. Meanwhile, it is not possible to make reservations for electronic exams in Examinarium or take an exam in Examinarium.

In the future, students can make a reservation for electronic exams and take exams in an electronic exam room and also get information on grade and feedback in Exam-system. It is possible for a student to take an exam after teacher has created and published an exam in Exam-system. Student must always agree with a teacher about taking an electronic exam in Examinarium. Optima environment is no longer in use in reservations for exams in electronic exam room.  

Electronic examination at the University of Oulu will provide a new form of taking electronic exams with flexible hours from Monday to Friday (at 8-20 or 8-21). Student can take electronic exams in a camera supervised electronic exam room. Electronic exam rooms will open in both Linnanmaa (Examinarium, same room TL 102, located on Fysiikankatu) and Kontinkangas.
