Johanna Vartiainen

Johanna Vartiainen received M.Sc. degree in mathematics from University of Oulu, Finland, in 2001 and PhD in information engineering from University of Oulu, Finland, in 2010. She has had a 3-year post as Academy of Finland Postdoctoral Researcher (2013-2016). Currently she is a research scientist in Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), University of Oulu, Finland. Her main research areas are interference suppression and signal detection mainly for cognitive radios and passive radars. She has published over 60 scientific articles and she has several patents/patent applications.
