Lloyd Ruddock

I am a Professor of Protein Science at the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and I act as Research Unit Leader for the Protein and Structural Biology Resaerch Unit and as a coordinator for Biocenter Oulu Proteomics and Biophysical Analysis core facility. My research focuses on the mechanisms and applications of oxidative protein folding. As well as elucidating molecular mechanisms of protein function, we develop protein cell factories. I teach on topics related to protein science at the faculty and am a member of the University Education Council.
