University Collegium tasks are regulated under the Universities Act in section 22, subsection 4:

 

University Collegium:

1) makes decisions on the number of members in the Board and the duration of the Board’s and its members’ term of office;

2) selects the members referred to in section 15, subsection 4 of the Universities Act to the University Board;

3) confirms the selection of university community groups referred to in section 15, subsection 2 of the Universities Act as Board members;

4) relieves a Board member of his or her duties based on a proposal made by the Board;

5) selects the university’s auditors;

6) approves the university's annual financial statement and makes a decision to grant discharge to the Board members and the Rector;

7) makes the decision to bring action for damages against a Board member, the Rector and an auditor;

8) makes the decision to relieve a Board member of his or her duties as referred to in section 65, subsection 3 of the Universities Act.
