GREEN CHEMISTRY AND BIOPRODUCTION EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME

International Green Chemistry and Bioproduction Educational Programme (120 credit points) is a new multidisciplinary educational programme operating at the University of Oulu. The programme educates experts who are able to control various parts of chemical and biological production by applying the principles of sustainable development. Studies leading to M.Sc or M.Sc (Eng.) degrees combine Biology, Chemistry (Faculty of Science), Environmental Engineering as well as Industrial Engineering and Management (Faculty of Technology). The programme is funded by North Ostrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) and European Social Fund (ESF).

The first students started their studies in spring 2011.
