Prompted by recent interactional research on touch and haptics (e.g. Cekaite 2010, 2015) and embodiment (e.g. Streeck, Goodwin & LeBaron 2014), this seminar course explores meaning-making in face-to-face interaction as an intercorporeal achievement (Cekaite 2015; Goodwin 2017; Meyer, Streeck & Jordan 2017). The course is open to doctoral students and researchers on language, interaction and multimodality.
Professor Asta Cekaite, Department of Thematic Studies, Child Studies, Linköping University
Assistant professor Florence Oloff, Research Unit for Languages and Literature, University of Oulu
