Oikos Finland conference for Ecologists and Evolutionary Biologists, Oulu, February 5 - 6, 2019
Oikos Finland aims to bring together researchers working on questions related to ecology and evolutionary biology in a conference organized every second year in Finland.
The meeting will feature general sessions as well as parallel themed sessions. The meeting also hosts a panel discussion on the theme " How to increase the societal impact of ecological research?" representing different stakeholders (panel discussion in Finnish).
The invited plenary speakers are:
- Stan Harpole, Department for Physiological Diversity, German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research
- Eva Kallio, Department of Ecology and Genetics, University of Oulu
- Anne Tolvanen, Natural Resources Institute Finland
