GenZ – Economic Resilience research team

Welcome to the webpage of the EconRe research team! We are part of the GenZ project. Our research focuses on analysing the resilience of different actors in the economy. Resilience refers to the ability of individuals, organisations, and regions to adapt to changes in the economy.

Our other research themes are regional economic development, labour mobility, and regional policy development measures. Changes in the labour market caused by digitalization are also one of the topics of our interest.

Research

How can humans and digital technologies co-create socio-economic development?

How can people, communities and societies be made stronger and more resilient as they use and develop intelligent and digital technologies?

How can we take advantage of the opportunities offered by technology to strengthen our ability to adapt to various shocks that shake the economy, such as the COVID-19 pandemic?

Questions above help to shed light on what kind of issues we are focusing on. See more information about our research themes and selected publications below.
