HIMSS22 Helsinki

OuluHealth, and CHT as part of it, are attending HIMSS22 Europe in Helsinki on June 14-16. 

OuluHealth offers innovation collaboration possibilities and networks for data-based research, development, and innovation. Our goal is to increase the value of health and wellbeing data as part of preventive health care and to catalyze its potential in the secondary use of data.  

Within the OuluHealth program Data enabled solutions in preventive and supportive healthcare we are developing opportunities to increase health data management skills and capabilities for secondary use of data, thus enabling data-driven innovation. We do it by developing smart data experimenting co-creation platform with sustainable data management practices.

We are supporting the research and education in creating capabilities in digital and data-driven healthcare, citizen centered data- driven preventive care, as well as turning data into business and novel service models. We are building national and international networks and collaboration platforms to strengthen the data innovation processes and capabilities within multi stakeholder ecosystems.​ The aim is also to create new coordination and peer learning mechanisms to support stakeholders' data based RDI by identifying and bringing up the special expertise within the ecosystems, and it perceives a customer-oriented innovation mindset within Oulu Innovation Alliance operations. More about Oulu Innovation Alliance. OuluHealth RDI operations and the data-program are coordinated by University of Oulu's Centre for Health and Technology (CHT).

We have multiple collaboration opportunities:

• We're coordinating national networks to promote digital health and the usage of health and wellbeing data. For example, in National Health and Wellbeing Data Innovation Ecosystem (HYTKI) -project, we're building collaboration to foster data-intensive innovations in health and wellbeing with our partners around Finland. 
• We provide a set of data services and tools to support your digital health solution development and research. You can find for example the Health Data Guide and a checklist for data-based research and development projects at CHT's website. 
• We are building Smart RDI environment for data-based innovations and solutions in health and wellbeing digitalisation. Check to Smart RDI project site to learn more.
