Project description
In the VAU!HAUTOMO project, a business accelerator: VAU!HAUTOMO will be established for entrepreneurs and people considering entrepreneurship in the Nivala-Haapajärvi region. VAU!HAUTOMO brings together the region's innovations and companies in a common business accelerator physically and digitally. The key operating principle of business accelerators is to train companies on a growth path and to bring emerging ideas into commercial form. As a new way of operating, the business accelerator utilizes digital tools in sparring, workshops, competition participation, and networking of companies. This increases the ability and skills of companies to operate in an online environment.
In the VAU!HAUTOMO project, companies are encouraged to innovations from the beginning “as if they were participating in a race” and thus the accelerator helps companies to develop products or services and companies as a whole. Participation in the competitions ignites the positive pressure on companies to evaluate and develop their own product, service concept, economy, performance and to evaluate their own position vis-à-vis other competitors.
The project will pilot a digital selection of content to help companies in the Nivala-Haapajärvi region prepare for the development of their business ideas, business start-ups, and business competitions. The materials will remain part of VAU!HAUTOMO's offering after the project. The opportunity for self-training supports companies' opportunities for development during the COVID-period.
The project supports the participation of companies in competitions and the success of negotiations that are important for companies. Participation in the competitions is voluntary for companies, but we strongly encourage it.
VAU!HAUTOMO project has financed as part of the European union's responce to the covid-19 pandemic.
