I have a PhD in archaeology and a masters degree in history. At the moment, I am working as a post doc researcher in a project called ”Daily and afterlife of children (1500 - 1900): New perspectives in identifiying childhood in the past". My research interests have varied from early modern dress to outhouses and from industrial to contemporary archaeology. The research material in my PhD thesis comprised of clothing related items from urban archaeological contexts and probate inventories from the 18th century. In my post doc study I continue with artefacts and documentary sources. This time my focus is in the handicraft of young women in 18th century town context.
