I am a Doctoral Researcher at University of Oulu and Researcher at Finnish Environment Institute. Environmental microbes and developing eDNA and other molecular monitoring methods are the fields of my special interest. Currently I’m assessing the natural changes in microbial activity as well as arsenic and antimony speciation in different seasons in Northern peatlands. I’m also studying how we can implement environmental DNA (eDNA) and other molecular monitoring methods in environmental monitoring.
