EveLINE is a multidisciplinary research group, which is interested in our everyday life in technology-rich neo-communities. The members of the group come from the fields of English Philology, Information Processing Science and Social Sciences. Its research has focused on how to engage children as active citizens, how the school of the future is emerging and how people participate in different types of communities. EveLINE draws on collaboration between different fields of research, both in research and researcher training.

As its primary research framework, EveLINE uses nexus analysis (Scollon & Scollon 2004), which focuses on social action combining different research approaches (e.g. ethnography, interaction analysis and qualitative study of different types). EveLINE works through the following modes of collaboration among others: Research projects, development projects, student projects, thematic seminars, data workshops, study circles and paper projects.
