FabLearn Europe – an international conference on Creativity and Making in Education – brings together international researchers, educators, designers, and makers to discuss and explore digital fabrication in education, making, and hands-on learning for the 21st Century. This fourth European FabLearn conference was organised by University of Oulu, INTERACT Research Unit in collaboration with University of Oulu Fab Lab. The conference took place in Oulu, on 28-29 May 2019. Researchers and practitioners from all around the world visited us and shared insights about making movement and digital fabrication in educational environments.
During the conference, Fab Lab Oulu researchers presented three different papers:
- Iván Sánchez Milara, Kati Pitkänen, Arto Niva, Megumi Iwata, Jari Laru and Jukka Riekki. “The STEAM path”: building a Community of Practice for local schools around STEAM and Digital Fabrication
