MANAGEMENT IN SOCIAL AND HEALTH CARE (HealthManagement) - RESEARCH GROUP

The research group is researching social and health care management, services and staff wellbeing from the viewpoints of patients, professionals and managers.

Research focus: 

  • Management and leadership in social and health care: digital leadership, knowledge-based management, leading evidence-based health care, multidisciplinary collaboration and leadership
  • Social and health services: person and patient-centeredness, frequent attenders, management and leadership in renewable and digital social and health services, service integration
  • Staff wellbeing in social and health care

Research materials include qualitative and quantitative data: materials are based on surveys and interviews of patients, professionals and managers, documents and register-based studies. The group uses descriptive and multivariate statistical methods, systematic reviews and qualitative study with content analysis.
