The student email service of Paju server will end on 31 October, 2013. It will not be possible to send or receive messages through Paju server from the beginning of November. Usage of home directories of Paju will continue as earlier.
Paju users are responsible for copying the content of their email boxes before the end of October 2013. After that it is not possible to access messages in Paju.
The new Office 365 for Education (O365) service is available for all the students. O365 service includes e.g. a free Outlook email.
Students who have activated the O365 service will get messages sent to old Paju addresses account(at)mail.student.oulu.fi and account(at)paju.oulu.fi directly to the new O365 service. Those who did not activate O365 service will not get messages sent to those addresses after October. The email forwarding will not work up in Paju after October.
It is strongly recommended to set a new email address in University's information services, like WebOodi, library's services and posting lists.
