The international Crisis Management workshop CriM gathers the teachers, researchers, experts and students of cybersecurity annually to study pressing issues of security and privacy of our digital systems. Respected international and Finnish lecturers combined with practical workshops each day bring the important insights of the current world to students interested in cybersecurity.

This year's CriM will be focusing on the NEXT GENERATION INTERNET and its challenges. These challenges can be divided into three categories: resilience, democracy & inclusiveness. The theme consists of ten challenges we face in seeking to create an internet which can be viewed as secure and usable for everyone. Speakers will also talk about cybersecurity issues and legislative problems but also projects around the world tackling these issues. Participants can expect a closer look into the world of cybersecurity and the problems we are facing, but also hear about the technology behind new developments.

In addition to lectures, students will also get to test their skills in practical workshops organized each day.

The students are also awarded 5 ECTS for participating and completing all the assigned tasks for each of the lectures and workshops. Students who wish to collect ECTS, should enrol onto this seminar and onto the course in WebOodi. Link to WebOodi registeration.
