Video clips promote study and research

Where does a researcher find inspiration? What drives a student to build robot suits? What are the strategic distances between twins teaching laser measurements? What is the best way to light a stove? How can you combine creativity with engineering?

University of Oulu students as well as staff members are starring in video clips produced by the Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.

First five in the series of ten Shortumentaries  have been released in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

Especially young people are targeted with the content for social media. The videos promote studying technology at University of Oulu and aim at attracting new students to University of Oulu technical study progammes.

The spring 2015 deadline for the joint application system is on Thursday 9 April at 15 o’clock.
