Multiple Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Student Positions – Sustainable Materials and Systems & Changing Climate and Northern Environment

On the basis of the recommendations of the international scientific evaluation panel the Rector approved 15 research projects to the University's strategic focus areas Sustainable materials and systems and Changing climate and northern environment for a period of  2021– 2024.  The projects  conducted in several research units at the University of Oulu will be given a targeted support in the form of doctoral student and postdoctoral researcher positions.
 
The project programme is coordinated by the Kvantum Institute  - one of the four focus institutes at the University of Oulu.  Focus institutes coordinate multidisciplinary research and doctoral training in the five strategic research focus areas of the University of Oulu.  The Kvantum Institute promotes interdisciplinary networking of research groups and projects as well as co-operation between groups and national and international partners.
