Library services during the COVID-19 situation

This page contains information on the special arrangements in the library due to the COVID-19 situation as well as on the support the library provides for distant learning and working remotely.

In the library

Limited services in Oulu University Library will continue until at least 25 April, 2021 due to the worsening coronavirus situation in the region. We closely monitor the coronavirus situation and inform you immediately on this page and in the library news releases if there are any changes to the current restrictions in the library. Self-service borrowing and returning of library material is possible in the libraries. You are not allowed to spend time unnecessarily, do group work, read newspapers or magazines or study in the library. Access to reading room loan items, microfilms, e-thesis worksations and the legal deposit workstations in the Pegasus Library is possible by special arrangements. Read more about the limited library services.

Visit the library only if you are symptomless. Please use hand sanitizer and wear a facial mask in the library, and remember to keep a safe distance to other library users and library staff. Check our opening hours on our website, Oula-Finna or Tuudo.

Instructions regarding coronavirus: University of Oulu and Oamk.
