Make use of the collections of the National Repository Library easily and free of charge

You can take a lot of advantage of the services provided by the National Repository Library, especially now with the present restrictions on spending time on campus. In addition to books and journals, the National Repository Library's collections also contain music materials such as sheet music and CDs.

You have access to the collections of the National Repository Library via Oula-Finna. If you cannot find the book you are looking for in Oulu University Library’s collections, it is always advisable to check if the book can be requested from the National Repository Library. To do this, select the National Repository Library tab on the Oula-Finna search results page.

If the item you are looking for is only available for reading room or researcher loan, it pays off to take a peek at the National Repository Library tab, since all material ordered from there can always be borrowed for home use.

To request books you must first log into your Oula-Finna account. When you are logged in, the link to the book request form appears on the availability information screen. You can pick up your ordered items from any Oulu University Library service point. The requests are free of charge.

Please note that all requests to the National Repository Library are made through Oula-Finna; you don’t have to contact them yourself.
