Couple of European wigeon (Anas penelope) are geting the idea that the summer is nearby especially here 'in the south',
in the district of Oulu city...
Summer is in full flow at least in the southern North Finland. Coltsfoot (Tussilago fafara) is over flowering,
and the white fluffs are just going to fly to search for a free living space... Coltsfoot is here groving on the original, wild habitat,
on fruitful peat, together with some of other plants favouring lime. The commom companions here are among others dwarf birch (Betula nana)
and bog bilberry (Vaccinium uliginosum). In Central abd Southern Finland Coltsfoot thrives mainly in the the verges of a roads,
fields and in the wastelands.
