Cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccos) is flowering - it is the middle of summertime....
It has been nice autumnfall-time at least in Kuusamo area. The different birches will get
the autuncolors in different time. More: autumncolors!
This picture is taken from Norway Lapland (Brannfjell) (taken approximately in the same time than
the higher picture from Kuusamo).
It seems to me, that red colours are deeper in Norway Lapland than in Kuusamo...
This picture is as well from Norwegian Lapland. It is permanent snow
and dark ("kaamos") at November...
