It is easy to detect - during the dew in the late summer -, that there are numerous spider-webs
in the fieldlayer of a forest. Among the dwarfshrubs and mosses is going strong fights
about the food... Particularly the life of insects and other small animals is full of dangers!

Autumn colours were very special in this autumn (see autumn colors!).
Firstly the colours appeared earlier than usually. Secondly the autumn colours
followed partly from the coming of wintertime (days become shorter and coldness),
but partly the were due to the drought in summer (the brown colour).
There was also the blight of birch (Melampsora betulina) in some areas.
It seems, that the drought and the coldness generate partly similar physiological
changes in the processes of wintering... But this matter is not researched enough.
