On the northernmost areas of Finland the sun came up over horizon about just after middle of January
(in Nuorgam 18.1.). In Oulu region (picture!) the crowns of trees are soaking up the sun at the end of January...
It was a lot of snow in the course of the vernal equinox (20.3.) in Oulu - in the middle of Finland!
But now the snow is melting in full swing, and great tits, greenfinchs and rooks
announce that a real spring is starting in the town, too! Swans and snow buntings have
arrived to Lapland...
