Oulu Mining School
Significance of research and education in mining and exploration has emphasized during recent years due to the openings of new mines and increased production of minerals and metals. Oulu Mining School (OMS) is an education and research unit in engineering and geosciences at the University of Oulu, which significantly strengthens the University’s expertise in natural resources and sustainability. Oulu Mining School gathers core disciplines of mining value chain at the geosciences, geophysics, mining engineering and mineral processing sectors.
