Exams

The following types of exams are used at the University of Oulu: An exam taken during the course, an electronic exam, a remote invigilated distance exam, and a Moodle exam. In addition to these, a student may, for certain reasons, apply for "Individual study arrangements during studies" to complete his or her studies.

Exam taken during a course (lecture exam)

Exams taken while a course is in progress and held during the teaching sessions set for the course are referred as lecture exams.

Remote Invigilated Distance Exams

The University of Oulu has decided to allow remote invigilated distance exams (distance supervised exams) in accordance with the instructions prepared by the university and taking care of the student's data protection.
