Research Unit of Psychology consists of three collaborating research groups: Wellbeing and personality, Research Clinic of Educational Psychology and Learning Research Laboratory (LearnLab). The Unit produces understanding on well-being and interaction through large-scale surveys, research on subjective experience and psychophysiological research.
Well-being and personality research group is led by professor of psychology, Mirka Hintsanen. The main focus of the group is to examine well-being and personality in educational and occupational contexts.
Research Clinic of Educational Psychology is led by professor of Educational Psychology, Hannu Soini. The main focus of the group is research based development and education of professional interpersonal skills and educational psychological counselling.
Learning Research Laboratory (LearnLab) is led by docent Seppo Laukka. The main focus of the group is on psychophysiological research on learning, emotions and interaction.
