New project started on vanadium recovery from waste streams

VanProd - Innovation for Enhanced Production of Vanadium from Waste Streams in the Nordic Region, 2017–2020

VanProd main goal is to develop vanadium recovery technologies for solid and liquid wastes, which are currently not utilized in Nordic area and additionally pose an environmental threat to the surrounding milieu. The VanProd Consortium is made up of three partners, University of Oulu  (Finland), UiT The Arctic University of Norway  (Norway) and Kjeøy Research and Education Center  (Norway), and one associate partner Linnaeus University  (Sweden). The project has started in September 2017 and will end in August 2020. VanProd is financed by the EU program Interreg Nord.
