The Scandinavian Studies Summer Programme is a short term programme designed specifically for students who are not able to study for a whole semester abroad but are interested in visiting Finland and learning about the Finnish way of life.
The programme gives the participants a good opportunity to see Oulu and Finland at its best in the summer with green nature and long bright days. The programme is taught in English.
During the summer programme the students will immerse themselves into the history and culture of the Scandinavia and Finland through studies organized at the University of Oulu.
A three day long study trip is included in the programme. During the study trip, the students will be able to see the beautiful Finnish nature at the Oulanka National Park.
Programme dates: The Scandinavian Studies Summer School will not be organized in 2020.
Final deadline for applications: The Scandinavian Studies Summer School will not be organized in 2020.
About one week after the deadline, an info package containing more detailed information about the summer programme (daily schedule, payment etc.) will be sent to the selected students.
