Welcome to the EIT RawMaterials-seminar on the topic “From mining through to smelting”, and an info-event for the next KAVA 6-call.
To support you to prepare successful proposals, with a high commitment from industrial partners in project consortiums, come and hear industrial research managers talk about the research needs of their companies.
The representatives of the nine companies, operating in the fields of mining- and steel industry, keep presentations across the value chains.
Topics are issued further in discussion parts which provides a platform for new perspectives and joint activities.
The industry themes range from mining through to smelting:
- mine planning, including but not limited to extraction operations, safety processes, environmental protection
- mineral processing design and operations e.g. processing rare earths and battery cell materials
- steel making, including material sorting and selection, alloy design and upscaling, process modelling and control, designing by products etc.
