Tellus celebrates different cultures and co-operation on 3.4.!

On the 3rd of April, the International Avenue is organizing a day festival at Tellus Innovation Arena starting at 12:00. This is a festival with a number of events: cultural events, keynotes, presentations, exchange fair, performances (including live music), international film screening, info on research funding in Germany – and more. We will start with opening words from the Vice-Rector, Matti Sarén of the University of Oulu and Professor Ryuji Kohno from the Yokohama National University.

We’ll have a lot of guests from Finland and abroad – ambassadors, partners and journalists.

The International Avenue was launched last summer to develop existing international services (exchanges, strategic partnerships, research funding) of the University, making them clearer and easy to use, and to introduce brand new ones. The aim is to offer customer oriented services and to further develop services based on student and staff feedback.

The International Avenue was launched on the 26th of August, 2016 as the Yokohama National University’s European Branch Office was inaugurated. Now we move forward and want to share what we do with the wider audience. The event is organized in co-operation with Tellus Innovation Arena, students from over 20 different nationalities and cooperation partners.
