Enjoy a lunch topped with science in Brown Bag lunch seminars

You are warmly welcome to enjoy top research over lunch to Brown Bag Lunch Seminar series organized by the University of Oulu's Focus Institutes. The events will take place in Tellus Stage on Linnanmaa campus once a month. Seminars are open for all members of our Science Community, students and staff alike. Lunch will be served to all registered participants.

The first seminar was held on September 14th at 11-12. The first guests in the series were Professor Lauri Eklund(Cell Matrix Biology) and Adjunct Professor, Docent Teemu Myllylä(Medical Imaging).

Brown Bag Lunch Seminar highlights the top level research conducted in the University of Oulu, and seminars take place every month with varying themes. Brown Bag Lunch Seminar series is jointly organized by the University of Oulu's focus institutes. We hope participants from diverse fields of study to enlighten the conversation over research.

October Brown Bag seminar will be held on the 9th of October at 11 in the morning on Tellus Stage. The speakers in the next seminar are Florence Oloff(Assistant Professor, Multimodal Interaction & Discourse) and Denzil Ferreira(Deputy Director of the Center for Ubiquitous Computing and the Principal Investigator of the Community Instrumentation and Awareness (CIA) research group).
