Student, join us for UniOulu Self-Hack!

On the 6th of September we organize a Self-Hack day for all the new students as a part of the orientation week. Self-Hack will replace Future Factory as part of orientation program, and it gives students more insight on their own values, dreams and life goals. Self-Hack is a method created in Tampere and it’s partly based on Stanford’s University’s popular Designing Your Life concept.

We want to create a fun and worthwhile event for our new students with your help – every student is warmly welcome to join our event as a Self-Hack facilitator, where your role is to facilitate and help group of students during the day. To be able to facilitate the groups, you should participate in few trainings we organize in August. This is a great change to get good experience of facilitating, besides being creating a nice event and spirit for every new student!

To take part in the event as a facilitator, you need to go through Self-Hack, yourself and participate in the facilitator training in August and then facilitate Self-Hack for new students on the 6th of September.

It’s possible to get 5 ECTS for facilitating Self-Hack, if you also go through the course material and write a reflective essay. More information about Self-Hack, the course and the requirements for passing the course here: www.oulu.fi/selfhack
