Many interesting events will take place in the new Tellus Kontinkangas

The new Tellus will bring many new activities to Kontinkangas campus as it opens. There will be regularly for example morning yoga, career counselling, workshops by study psychologist, Alumni stories, lunch seminars, interaction training and much more.

Really worthwhile single events to visit are for example opening ceremony on the 17thof September and the International Day on the 3rdof October. The schedule of reoccurring events is the following: Interaction training will be held on the second week of every month at 4 PM, Career services workshop on the last Monday of each month. On the first Tuesday of every month, study psychologist will have workshops and give counselling. Morning yoga will be held on the third Tuesday of each month from 8 to 9 AM and Entrepreneurship counselling on the first Wednesday. On Wednesdays, there will also be Story Time. In this event you will get to hear the life stories of people, who have done a remarkable career on the field of medicine. There are some exceptions to this schedule. Stay tuned and follow Tellus website, university communication channels and the screens in Tellus Kontinkangas to keep track of all our events.

In addition to the events organized by Tellus staff, anyone can organize any kind of event in Tellus. The smaller rooms are perfect for meetings and on Stage, anyone can have any kind of show, seminar, gig or lecture. The rooms can be reserved via Outlook, by sending email to Anu Rytivaara ( or by visiting the Service point of Tellus after the opening.

We are happy to help, if you would like to try out anything new or change the ways we work in the university. Tellus is all about developing the university by trying new stuff boldly and doing things the new way.

The best way to find out what this all is about is to attend the opening ceremony on the 17thof September. During the day there is a possibility to get to know the premises and atakeholders and in the evening, there will be the official opening ceremony.
