#STARCTIC2019 Twitter conference: Arctic Sustainability

University of Oulu's second ever Twitter conference #STARCTIC2019 will feature presentations on the subject of Arctic Sustainability from the point of view of a multitude of different fields of research. The conference will be held on Friday the 11th of October starting at 10 AM UTC+3. The conference is organized as a part of The University of Oulu's and the Student Union of the University of Oulu's Sustainable Development Week. The conference will feature an opening keynote by the WWF Arctic Programme and a closing keynote by UArctic Reserach Chair and professor Jeffrey Welker. 

The conference will take place completely on Twitter as researchers tweet their presentations as 10-tweet chains. The presentations will be retweeted by the moderator account @OuluTC. To participate in the conference, follow @OuluTC and the official conference hashtag #STARCTIC2019. You can observe the conference on Twitter even without a Twitter account:
