The announcement of Nobel Prizes will be streamed on campus

The Nobel Prizes will be announced in Stockholm in the next month. There will be a livestream on the university campus and a researcher from the field at hand giving an interesting introduction speech before the broadcasting. 

 

Here are the schedules for the livestreams:

 

7.10 The Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine 11:30–13:00. Place: Tellus Kontinkangas Stage. Short introduction on the history of Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine and 2018 laureates by dean Peppi Karppinen and Dr. Jussi Koivunen.

 

8.10 The Nobel Prize in Physics 12:30–14:00. Place: Green coat racks next to Smoothie Bar, Linnanmaa

 

9.10 The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 12:30–14:00. Place: Aspire, Tellus Linnanmaa. Short introduction on the history of Chemistry Nobel Prize by Professor Ulla Lassi.

 

10.10. The Nobel Prize in Literature 14:00–15:30. Place: Green coat racks next to Smoothie Bar, Linnanmaa. Short introduction on the history of Nobel Prize in Literature by university lecturer Jyrki Korpua.

 

14.10 Sverige’s Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 12:30–14:00. Place: Tellus Stage, Linnanmaa. Short introduction on the history of Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences by university researcher, Dr.Econ. Jaakko Simonen.

 

The livestream events are free and open for all. There will be small catering as well. Come and meet your fellow scientists and enjoy the show!
