The course offers the participants a broad perspective on different ways to approach innovation such as types of innovation and different innovation management approaches. During the course, the participants learn to demonstrate knowledge of different innovation types, strategic approaches to innovation and innovation management. Upon completion of the course, the participants will develop their skills for discussing related issues and solving practical challenges. Participants are given practical examples on managing innovation. They will also learn to solve practice-oriented innovation management cases.

Presentation skills training (Impact Camp Autumn 2020) – November 3 to 19 (Tuesdays to Thursdays at 12.30-15.30)

The best presenters are constantly improving their skills, and now you have a great opportunity to improve yours with our motivating coaches. During the three-week training period you will broaden your knowledge about how to build up a public speech. You will also learn ways to overcome public speaking anxiety and get tips on how to spice up your presentation and focus your listeners’ attention. As the cherry on the cake, you will have an opportunity to improve your public speaking skills with hands-on training guided by our experienced coach. And more, you will have an opportunity to attend workshops on facilitating group work and service design.

The course focuses on improving students’ capabilities to develop research-based ideas into innovations with significant economic potential and on matters relating to commercializing them via new or existing companies. During the course the student learn current methods of building high-growth potential businesses, immaterial rights, and related public and private finance instruments like venture capital. Upon completion of the course, the student can tackle business growth related challenges within start-up companies and traditional industries.
