University’s quality assurance system will be audited in autumn 2017. Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINEEC or Karvi in Finnish) will be responsible for the auditing, which will be conducted in English.
Part of the auditing will focus on examples of the University’s development work. Karvi requires three samples on the University’s degree education. Two of these samples is chosen by the University; one degree programme including bachelor’s and master’s education and one doctoral degree programme. The third sample of degree education is decided by the Karvi’s audit team six weeks prior to the audit visit. In addition to the degree education samples the University is required to choose a third sample, that is a function or operation central to the University’s strategy or profile.
All members of our university community, both staff and students, can give their suggestions for University’s audit samples. Speak out and tell us your suggestion for audit samples! The link will be open during 5-21.10.16.
The final selection which degree programmes and function will be presented to Karvi, is made by the quality project’s steering group which consists of the rectorate, the administrative director, the CFO and the communications director. When choosing the samples the main criterion will be representativeness of the sample, enhancement-led approach as well as the number of suggestions. University-related prizes will be raffled among those who leave their suggestions. More information about University’s quality work and auditing samples.
