Microelectronics Research Unit

Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering

The research of Microelectronics Research Unit is based on value chain which consists of material science, process development and electronics applications. Our research is application driven. We first focus on the device or component, and apply the process technology and material selection which fits best to the application. Materials science provides a strong basis for wide-ranging research which allows development for various applications. For example, we can develope antennas for disposable flexible devices or extremely demanding high frequency environment and all the area between. We are strong on each part of the value chain which allows us to work on one or more areas in research projects and support research partners in other areas.
