Educational Theory, Philosophy and Policy. This cross-disciplinary programme invites students to explore educational theory and its traditions and educational policy-making through the analytical lenses of philosophy. We believe that the ability to educational policy-making in first place requires fluency in educational theory and philosophy. The international infrastructure promotes the highest quality of collaboration across disciplines and between different systems of thought and cultural practices. The programme explores key debates over the meaning and nature of education, which intersect with questions about the person, society, education and knowledge as well as identity and its development in diverse forms of interaction in educational settings. The content of the program consists of four modules: 1) Introductory Studies, 2) Philosophy and global ethics, 3) Theories of education, and 4) Educational policy.
