During its current Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Finland has the honor to host the first ever 5G Cyber Security Hackathon at Tellus Innovation Arena at the University of Oulu. University provides a live 5G test network for the hackathon.The world’s leading cyber security experts come together to find ways to safeguard our future digital society.
5G Cyber Security Hackathon organised by The Finnish Transport and Communications Traficom is expected to attract around 150 top-level cyber security experts around the world. Themes of the hackathon include improving the cyber security in 5G infrastructure and ensuring the information security in digital services used over 5G. Hackathon partners include Ericsson and Nokia, which are leading 5G innovator companies, and 6G Flagship programme from the University of Oulu, which has world-class research expertise in radio technologies at Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC).
