Biography

Dr. Heli Koskimäki received her Ph.D. in 2009 by approaching diverse industrial problems using machine learning and data mining methods. Her areas of expertise includes wearable sensors data mining, streaming data analysis, sensor fusion and adaptive models especially targeted to real-world problems. The concrete application areas include activity recognition and early detection of migraine attacks.
