I am a university lecturer in archaeology and my specilization areas are bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology. I study human remains in past populations and in contemporary conflict/forensic contexts. I received my PhD in archaeology at the University of Oulu (2011) and in (biological) anthropology at the University of Tennessee (2014). I teach courses related to my research area, such as Introduction to Osteology, Specialisation in Biological Anthropology and Bioarchaeology, Biological Anthropology Seminar and BA Thesis Seminar.
