Doctoral candidate

Biography

Marja Lindholm is a biogeographer doing her PhD studies at the Geography Research Unit. She is currently working with biodiversity patterns of aquatic plant communities related to environmental change in small boreal lakes. However, she is interested in a wide variety of freshwater organisms and environments at different spatial and temporal scales.

Research interests

  • Freshwaters
  • Temporal and spatial patterns of biodiversity
  • Aquatic macrophytes
